Why non-vegitarian food should be reduced in diet of 21 century people?

In Human Societies now a days, two kind of food eating peoples are observed. One is vegetarian type and another one is non vegetarian type. In Hinduism, it is very much debating subject among the people about the food. Some will say only vegetarian foods are good for human and some will say that non vegetarian foods are very much essential for human life. Some people will say that non vegitarian food is not for human being. It is not completly true. At the intial stage of human civilization, humans were hunter and they feed on raw meats. In reality both kind of people were there in Hinduism from initial days, both non vegetarian and vegetarian. From the pre Human to till modern humans, non vegetarian food was very much liked and accepted. In ancient time, humans were hunter and were eating raw meat. It can't be said that non vegetarian foods are not for human. In olden days, peoples were doing hard work like hunting, doing agriculture activity, breaking stones, fishing by throwing net on river. Which were bodyache activities. Due to which , they were losing lots of energy and using muscle strength. That's the reason, in olden days, for heavy calorie and because for need of excess amount of protein, peoples were eating meat and fish. They were good runner for hunting animals for meat and cutting trees with lots of effort for firing wood. In this sense, it can be said that ancient peoples were eating non vegetarian food because of there hard labourius activity, due to which they were required lots of energy and protein. We know well that best source of energy is fat which is generally found in meat or fleshes of animal and fat can be stored in human body easily. This stored fat can release energy on requirement of human during his hard working activity.
But eating of non vegitarian food is not much necessary in 21st Century peoples. Now days, peopes are not much labourius and performing any hard work like ancient peoples. With less efforts and easy activities are being carried out. hence, the physical activity of human being has been reduced. Due to which, a common human being requires less calories and protein. Digestion capacity of human being has bee reduced to digest food like meat and fish fleshes. Ancient peoples were even capable to digest raw meat by using appendix, which is now in human body found as a vestigial organ. So, it can be concluded that consuming of both vegitarian and non vegitarian food depends on the requirement of human body. In Hindu cultures brahmin are not allowed to consume non vegitarian food because the labourius work activity is not included in Brahmins routine activity. What a brahmin do in routine activity? Brahmin do studies of mytholgical book, preaching about righteous activity to other cast people, doing worship in temple. Kshatriya were allowed to eat meat because they were warrior and practicing martial. Due to which they used muscle strength. To maintain muscle strength, they consumed meat in their diet. In ancient mythology, it has been described that most of Kshatriya were hunting in jungles. Other cast peoples like shudra and vaishya were doing farming and giving service to society laboriously. They also used their muscle strength.
It can be concluded that 21st century peoples must change thier life style with the demand of time and health. 😀😀😀😀

What is the difference between Non Veg and Tamasik food

Where I am to describe the difference between Non veg food and tamasik food. There are more people who considers that the non veg food and tamasik food are similar. It seems to be similar but having two separate meaning. As we consider scientifically that non veg foods are those which are obtained by killing animals and veg foods are those which are obtained from vegitatiom mean plants. According to Hindu mythology, tamasik is the food which increases heat in body and make the nature of human negative. Due to consuming of tamasik food, it increases sex, angriness, cruelty , mercilessness and all evil behaviours. These type of behaviour is known as tamasik behaviour. Those foods whichever obtained from plant, animal or from soil. After consuming such foods, it's increase tamasik behaviour are known  as tamasik food. Hence some of plant parts also known as tamasik food like Onion and Garlic. Because due to consuming Onion and Garlic, sexual power arises. Meat, fish, and eggs are also considered as tamasik. I think that now u have understood about the differences between Non veg food and Tamasik food. In Hindu mythology, some one branch of mythology says not to eat tamsik food and another branch don't say anything about tamasik food. In Hindu two branches are best known. Those are vedic and tantrik. Even in vedas animal sacrifices were allowed. So it seems that non vegetarianism was also there in ancient india. In tantrik, two paths are there called Dakshin marg (Right hand path) and Vaam marg path (Left hand path). Right hand path is completely stavik sadhana marg and they feed on stavik food. Vaam marg is the tamsik marg they feed on tamasik food like meat, fish, onion and garlic. So these are the differences between Non veg food and tamasik food.

Why Idol Worship is allowed in Hinduism

Many non Hindus are question me. Why Hinduism allows Idol worship. Isn't it bad and unscientific. I answer them. Worship is self unscientific. The believe of existence of God is unscientific. Then how can you say that Idol worship is unscientific. Behind every activity, faith and think. There may be some scientific reasons. Similary, behind the idol worship by Hindus are purely scientific. It is not known to every one. In Hinduism, Rigved is the first book. In that book there is no idol worship. It only describes about nirakar (Unshape). Second is Samved, Third book is Yajurved. Even in second and third book, there is no description about idol worship. These books are prepared at different time as per the requirement of Society. Third book is Atharv bed is also called as Magical book. First time in this book, there was the description about the Sakar (Shape) brahm.
In ancient time, it was easy for educated and intellectual peoples to gain spiritual upliftment. Because they can believe in existence of god by listening, reading and generating their feeling that Nirakar (Unshaped) brahm exist. So they can worship god easily by there faith and get release from life death cycle. Then Saints and rishi think that how can we provide spiritual upliftment to general public. Because that time general public were mainly uneducated and having less knowledge. Even they cannot understand the concept by listening and practically it was complicated for rishis to make them understand about spirituality. Rishi describing about the Nirakar brahm ( unshaped) but they were not able memorize things and generate feeling for god. For general public, it was difficult to feel god. Then Rishis started thinking about the way how can they generate feeling in general public. They start to describes various quality of god. How god look like. For generation of universe, Rishi started to describe incarnation of God Brahma. Then they describe operation of universe as incarnation of god Vishnu and then for destruction of universe they started to describe God Rudra. Now general public was able generated various feeling for god. In Hindus there are 33 crore God and Goddesses. It means that God may have 33 crore quality or more. These feeling are activated one by one. Hindu doesn't believe in many god but one god with unlimited quality and feelings. This the scientific reason behind idol worship.
I can remeber a story about a famous saint who was invited by a king for dinner in his palace. That king was highly influence by the Brhama samaj. He was strongly disagree with the idol worship. Unknowingly, a debate has been started between the King and Saint. At last saint consider himself that he defeated. King become happy and ready to give anything as a gift to saint and allow him to do any thing in his palace. On that palace wall, a portrait was being hanged. That portrait was of late father of that king. Saint ordered his disciples to bring that portrait from wall and put that down and hit that with feet. The king become angary and replied to saint " how dare you" to disrespect my father. Then saint replied to king, your father is dead and it just a portrait how can I disrespect him. King said- yes, I know my father is dead but my feeling is attached with this portrait. Saint replied- similarly, idol is non living but the feeling of devotee is attached with idol as a god. King then understand the concept of idol worship and consider his self as he is defeated.
As you will see different idol of Hindu god and goddesses. Different types of feeling will be activated in mind. For Kali, it aggressive, violence, fear etc. For Vishnu it is smile, happy, peacefulness. For Shiva, it is sacrifice, strong, etc

Why bell is used to ring at entry of Hindu temple before worshiping Hindu deity?

Many time a question come into our mind that why we ring that hanging bell in Hindu temple at the time of entry to temple. Many peoples also must have questioned you about this and amongs you many people might be known the reason behind this. But I have a scientific explaination for this. Yes, I will provide you many examples for this.
We ring the temple bell in temple, it doesn't mean that we do this to wake up God in temple.
I am providing you an example just understand this and assume the things. Suppose some one is walking on road and thinking deeply something in his mind and he doesn't have attention for the vehicles running on that road. At that time a vehicle was coming from his back side toward him. Suddenly, a vehicles driver horned loudly. Now, you may imagine what happened to that person. That person get alert and keep himself safe from that vehicle and get aside and Allow to pass that vehicle. When the driver of that vehicle horned loudly, sequence of thought and imaginations of that person, walking on road get breakdown. Make himself to stay protected from fast vehicles.
Same thing is happened due to the ringing bell. The devotees come to temple  for worship get attended to worship and attention. The sequences of imagination and thought get breakdown and concentrate to the Devine God. Its a kind of simple concentration practices.
Another example, that we used in our daily life is morning alarm. We set the alarming time at night to get up early in morning. When alarm get ring, the sound of ringing breaks the imagination and consciousness due to sleep and wake up. Similar things that we carried out in our life like school bell ringing sound and mobile ring tone etc.

Why five prime deities are considered as significance to worship?

In Hinduism, five deities like Lord Ganesh, Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, Lord Surya (Sun) and Goddess Durga are considered as Panch dev or Panchaitan. According to Hindu scripture, only these God and Goddess or sub form of these God and Godesses are capable to provide liberation from Birth and Death cycle (Moksha). These five deities are considered as chief among God and Goddesses.
First four Gods are male power and last one is female power. These five deities are the controller to five materials called Panmahabhut. Through which this universe is consist of. Those five Panchamahabhutas are Vayu (Air), Jal (Water), Agni (Fire), Prithvi (Earth) and Akash (Space).
As we know that Lord Vishnu ride on Garuda (Eagle bird), which indicate the material of Air. Lord Shiva ride on Nandi (Bull) which indicate the material of earth, Lord Surya (Sun) is the indication of fire. Godess Parvati or Durga is the master of water. Lord Ganesh ride on mouse means indicate speed means mind of any person represent the material of sky or space. Mind of some one is very unstable and agile, as similar to Mouse. Lord Ganesh is the master of mind power and intelligence. Lord Vishnu is the controller of wind power means lungs and air in bloods. Lord Shiva is the controller of earth power means muscular strength of body. Lord Surya (Sun) is the controller of fire power who regulate body temperature and bones. Lord Parvati is the controller of fluid power in human body like all blood, lymph and other fluids. Therefore, all these five chief deities are related to five materials of universe. Thousand year ago, rishi munis were more intelligent and they were knowing it's secrets.

Why sex is considered as biggest obstacles for spritual growth in Hindu vedic tradition?

In this world, various kind of feelings and thoughts a human being can have. But sexual feeling is very much stronger feeling than any other feeling. In ancient time, sex was considered as biggest hurdle for spritual upliftment or for attaining siddhis from sadhana. Behind this consideration, various reasons are there. That's why sages, saints and spritual master were not marrying and keeping thereself away from female gesture. They alway avoid to meet Femine gender peoples and even not touching them. As mixing of any other color with black color, alway it results as black. Similarly, if there is sexual desire or feeling in mind, no any other feeling can replace it easily. Mantra has a particular meaning, on repeatation of which creat feeling in mind and on practicing slowly of that mantra siddhi (Success) is attained. In yogic practice, a yogi should have to concentrate on a single point, subject or portrait of god or goddess. But if any part of mind, sexual desire is there, then definitely that desire will disturbed practitioner mind and divert him from his spritul path. Whereever a practitioner's mind will go, their feeling will be generated and energy of human body will flow toward that and be applied to make truth of that feeling called as siddhis. In another way, it can be said, due to sexual feeling loss of energy will be caused. The sadhak should store energy and not to loss downward. Tantrik sadhak somehow uses strong sexual feeling during tantrik sadhanas and prevent to flow energy downward and use to press those energy to their spritual chakras to attained siddhis. But it is only for Tantrik sadhanas and not for vedic / satvik sadhanas. For Vedic and Satvik sadhanas Sexual desire and feeling must be prevented to get success in sadhana.

Why it was mandatory to make Tatoo on body for Hindu Maratha Ladies?

Most of women from Maharashtra state of India are observed with some black tattoos on their face or on other parts of their body. Almost all women are seen having these tattoos on their body. Even in this 20th century, it is being followed by Maratha women as tradition of their culture. Then a question come to our mind, what could be a reason behind this tradition in past that Marathi peoples are still following this. In my contacts, I asked to many Marathi peoples about it, but they couldn't answered me properly. But i think my mom answered me properly. The answer of this question is not found from Maharashtra a south western state of India. But I got the answer from Odisha a South eastern State of India, means my mom is from typical Odiya culture. She told me that during Mughal era of India, Muslim intruders were ruling in India. Hindu Maratha women were kidnapped and rapped by Muslims. Some time they get married to those women and using them like sex slaves. Many stories that i have listen from my mom about Mughal emperor. She had heard those stories from her grandmother. Recently once, I was seeing tattoo in my mom’s hand written as "HARE KRISHNA" and i ask her about that tattoos. She explain me as below.
Mughal emperors were trying to spread Islam by converting Hindus to Islam in ancient India. As per the Islamic law, making tattoos on human body is considered as anti-Islamic. In Islam, it is a kind of taboo. From such persons, Muslims stay away and don’t keep any relations with that person and even they don’t do sexual relation with them. It was the biggest reason for Maratha warriors to challenge and defeat most of Mughal emperor in south. In ancient India, Marathas were knowing the weakness of Muslim emperors or can be said anti-Islamic activity that they were following to keep away Muslim peoples. For Maratha emperors, it was their prime responsibility to safe their women from being raped by Muslims. Hence, making tattoos on face and other part of body becomes a tradition to follow in Marathi cultures. Not only in Maharashtra but also other part of India, it is followed. But somewhere it is followed as their culture and somewhere not being followed. In ancient India, wherever Marathas conquered the region from Mughal, basically in south India, influence of this Marathi tradition is observed.

What is the exact meaning of Moksha (Liberation)?

As we know that Hinduism is the world’s most ancient religion. Here, is a question that how this religion is unique than other religion in the world. Ya, Hinduism is completely unique religion, where other religions like Islam, Christian etc. preaches toward the path or to gain heaven. Here, Hinduism shows path to gain moksha meaning liberation. Hinduism says that there is the presence of heaven in Hindu mythology called as Swarg. It can be gain by doing good deeds in Life. But Hindu Spiritual practitioners doesn’t give much significant to achieve Heaven (Swarga). Because, by doing good deeds in Human life, some will get punya (Outcomes of Good deeds). On getting Sufficient Punya in Human Life, One can reach to Heaven, but on finishing of Punya, that soul will be thrown out from heaven. Hinduism also considers the concept of Heaven (Swarga) and Hell (Narka) on the basis of good and bad deeds in Human Life. When a Soul is get thrown out from heaven or hell, he again took birth on earth for full filling his desire. Again on the basis of deed, that souls achieves Heaven (Swarg) and Hell (Narka). The cycle of birth and death is repeated again and again. The liberation from repeated cycle of birth and death is called as Moskha (The liberation).
Every Hindu has the aim to achieve moksha (Liberation) and they try to achieve it in life. Hindu considers that this living Soul is separated from Supreme Soul (The almighty) and at last, it should be get merged into that supreme soul (Almighty). All living Souls are the pieces of Supreme Soul, so souls shouldn’t be trapped up in birth and death cycle. Undoubtedly, all living souls must do good work and get punya (Outcomes of good deeds). But shouldn’t expect to achieve heaven, because when you having Gold then you will not desire to get copper or any other material. After getting moksha (liberation), no any soul will take rebirth on earth.
The question comes into mind that how to get moksha (liberation) and why living soul take birth and death repeatedly. First, we will discuss why living soul takes birth and death. Due to having many desires in human life, soul has to take birth on earth to fulfill his desire and live all comforts what he has desired. While living soul losses his desires. Then, that soul doesn’t take birth again and get liberated. Living Soul can losses his desire by following the path of spirituality and devotion to supreme soul. Desires of living comfort and facilities can be ended by practicing and mediation.

In Hinduism, Why Arghya (Offering Water) is offered to Baal Surya (Red Sun) in the morning?

In Hinduism, All Hindus used to offer water called Arghya to Lord Surya during morning, mostly to Bal Surya also can be said as Red Sun, when sun arises. Most of peoples and modern science thought that such a kind of activities are like a blind faith. Even Some modern educated Hindus also considered it as blind faith. They says that offering water to Lord Sun is a kind of non-sense thing and they questions that by doing water offering to red sun, will that sun will get that water?. May they think right or they may be wrong. But thinking in scientific way, Hindu rishi and saints were so clever that without any reasons they had not started any religious activities in Hinduism.
As that science has revealed that due to the exposure of morning sun rays human body get Vitamin D and prevents various types of diseases from human body. As in western countries, a trend has started to take regular sun bath to make a healthier life style. But western countries only take sun bath and never thank or not having feeling of respect for Sun.
But Hindu Saints and Rishis were clever, so they preach every Hindus to worship morning Red Sun by offering water or some other way to accept sun rays as blessing to prevent various diseases of skin and bones etc. They had started it as Spiritual activities by connecting with divine faith and to get mental peacefulness for all. Hence, for this Surya Puja (Worship of Sun) has started.
In Ayurveda, it is mentioned that by getting correct exposure of Sun rays can prevent thousands of disease. On earth, Sun is the only the prime source of energy, due to which life is exist on earth. Offering water to Red Sun in the morning is a respect for Lord Sun, in many types of worship, Sun is worshiped. Sun ray has abilities to kill various infectious microorganism.
Offering water to Lord Sun in morning was a compulsory duty for all Hindus to take Sun bath. This was the only Scientific Reason behind this activities. Jai Mahakaal.
